Your account

Your account is about you, not your store. Everything here belongs to the person signed in: your staff each have their own. Store-wide choices (payments, shipping, staff) stay in Settings.

Open it from the account menu: click your photo or initials in the top right corner (or at the bottom of the left menu) and choose Account. The pages are listed on the left:

Profile

Your photo

  1. Click Upload photo and pick a photo from your computer or phone (JPG, PNG or WebP).
  2. A square appears. Drag the photo to move it and use the Zoom slider to make it bigger. The round shape shows exactly what your team will see.
  3. Click Use this photo.

Your photo shows next to your name in the top bar, the left menu and the staff list. To go back to your initials, click Remove.

Good to know: we shrink the photo to a small square and remove hidden details such as the place it was taken.

Your name and mobile number

Type your Full name and Mobile number, then click Save (or Save on the bar at the bottom). For an Indian number, just type the 10 digits: we add +91 for you. The number is used for your own WhatsApp alerts; customers never see it.

Your email is shown here too. It is the address you sign in with.

Delete my account

At the bottom of Profile. It removes you from every store you work in and deletes your sign-in, photo, passkeys and devices. The stores, their orders and their customers stay.

  1. Click Delete my account and type your sign-in email.
  2. Click Send code. We email you a 6-digit code.
  3. Type the code and click Delete my account. You are signed out straight away.

If you own a store, the button is greyed out and tells you which store: a store always keeps its owner. Hand the store to someone else first (Settings → Staff) or close it.

Sign-in & security

Change the email you sign in with

  1. Next to your email, click Change email.
  2. Type the new address and click Send code. We send a 6-digit code to the new address.
  3. Type the code and click Change email. From now on you sign in with the new address.

Your old address gets an email saying the sign-in email was changed, so you notice if someone else did it. Not getting the code? Check the address for typos; if that address already belongs to another account, no code is sent.

Sign in with Google

If the login page shows Continue with Google, you can use your Google account instead of waiting for a code.

  1. On the login page, click Continue with Google.
  2. Pick the Google account that uses the same email you sign in with.
  3. You are in. The first time, this links your Google account to your existing account: you keep the same stores, role and history. Nothing new is created.

New to the admin? Google works for sign-up too: you land on Create your store, exactly as with a code by email. If sign-ups are invite-only, you see the same “invite-only” message.

Under Sign-in & security, the Google card shows Linked and the date once you have signed in with Google. Good to know:

  • Google only works when Google has confirmed the email address. If it has not, the login page says so; sign in with a code by email instead.
  • A Google account with a different email never opens your account. Change your sign-in email first if you want to use another Google account.
  • Signing in with a code by email always keeps working.

Passkeys: sign in without a code

A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, your face or your phone’s screen lock, so you do not wait for an email.

  1. Click Add a passkey, give it a name you will recognise (for example “Office laptop”) and click Add a passkey again.
  2. Your phone or computer asks for your fingerprint, face or PIN. That is it.

Next time, on the login page, click Sign in with a passkey. Add one on each device you use. To rename or remove a passkey, click ⋯ next to it. Signing in with a code by email always keeps working.

Recent sign-ins

The last 10 times someone signed in to your account: the device and browser (“Chrome on Windows”), roughly where (city, or a partly hidden internet address), how (code, Google or passkey) and when. If one was not you, sign that device out on Sessions and change your email.

Sessions

Sessions lists every phone and computer signed in as you. The one you are using says This device.

  • Sign out next to a device signs only that one out. Use it for a lost phone or a shop computer you no longer use.
  • Sign out everywhere else signs out every device except this one.

Both ask you first. A device you sign out has to sign in again with a code or a passkey; a page already open on it can keep working for up to 5 minutes.

Notifications

Your own alerts for the store you are working in. Every person on the team picks their own, so the owner can get every order while a packer gets nothing.

AlertWhat it is
New orderAn email (or WhatsApp) for each order as it comes in, with a button to open it
Daily summaryOnce a day at the hour you pick: orders, sales and how many wait to be shipped. Before noon it covers yesterday; after noon, today so far
Low stock, Payment or payout problem, App or integration errorMarked Soon: your choice is saved now and starts sending in an update

Switch each one on for Email, WhatsApp or both, then click Save. The store owner gets new orders, payment problems and app errors by email until they change it; everyone else starts with everything off.

  • WhatsApp shows only when your store has WhatsApp set up in Settings → Notifications, and needs your mobile number on Profile.
  • Alerts about orders only reach people whose role can see orders.
  • The owner can switch team alerts off for everyone in Settings → Notifications, under Messages you get.

Stores

Stores lists every store you can open, with your role in each (for example Owner or Staff) and the day you joined. The store you are working in now says Current.

  • Switch to opens another store. You can also switch from the store name at the top of the left menu.
  • Leave removes you from a store. You lose access straight away, and an owner or admin has to invite you again if you want to come back.

The owner of a store cannot leave it: a store always keeps its owner.

Language & region

  • Admin language: English or हिंदी (Hindi). See Admin language for what changes.
  • Time format: 12-hour shows 4:05 pm, 24-hour shows 16:05.
  • Week starts on: Monday or Sunday, for day lists such as Days you send parcels in Settings → Shipping.

These choices are saved on this browser and change straight away. Times are always India time (IST).

Questions

Can my staff see my mobile number? No. It is only used to send you your own alerts.

Is a passkey safe? Yes. Your fingerprint or face never leaves your device, and a passkey only works on this admin’s own address, so a fake login page cannot use it.

I changed my photo but the old one still shows on another computer. Refresh that page. A photo can take a few minutes to update everywhere.

I left a store by mistake. Ask the store’s owner or an admin to invite you again from Settings → Staff.
