Bulk edit

Where to find it: Products, tick the products, then Bulk edit. What to do: change the cells you need. What you’ll see: a spreadsheet with one row per variant, and the cells you changed tinted.

The columns are title, status, vendor, type, tags, price, compare-at, cost, SKU, barcode, weight (g), HSN, GST % and the stock at each place. A product’s own cells (title, status, vendor, type, tags) repeat on each of its variant rows and change together.

  • Click a cell and type. Press Tab or Enter to move on.
  • Paste a block copied from Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Fill down: drag the small corner handle of a cell, or press Ctrl D to copy the cell above.
  • Wrong values turn red and are listed above the sheet, for example a compare-at price lower than the price, an HSN that is not 4 to 8 digits, or a SKU used twice. Nothing is saved until they are fixed.
  • Press Save once. Everything saves together, or nothing does. A message such as “Saved: 12 variants” appears with an Undo button; Undo puts the old values back. Discard throws away your edits.

Stock changes you save are written to the stock history with the note “Bulk edit”. The sheet takes up to 500 variants at a time; if you select more, it tells you and shows the first 500.
