Autopilot

Growth → Autopilot plans campaigns for you. It looks at your abandoned carts, new products, customers who have gone quiet and the festival calendar, writes a draft for each, and waits. Nothing is sent until you approve it.

Turn it on

  1. Open Growth → Autopilot and switch Autopilot on.
  2. Under Goals and limits, pick what it should work towards:
    • Recover carts: switch on abandoned-checkout reminders when carts are being left.
    • Launch new products: email your subscribers about products added in the last 14 days.
    • Win back customers: a campaign to subscribers with no order in 90 days (Autopilot makes a segment called Autopilot: no order in 90 days for it).
    • Festive sales: a campaign three days before Dhanteras, Diwali, Christmas, Holi, Raksha Bandhan and other sale days coming up in the next three weeks.
  3. Set the budget: the most emails and campaigns it may plan in any seven days, and the largest discount it may offer (0 means never). Then Save.
  4. Select Plan campaigns.

Approve, edit or dismiss

Each proposal says why it was made (“38 subscribed customers have not ordered in 90 days”), who it reaches, when it would go out (10:00 IST), and the discount if any.

  • Open draft to read or change the email. It is a normal campaign draft.
  • Approve & schedule creates the discount code (once per customer, valid 14 days, never above your limit), adds it to the email and schedules the campaign.
  • Approve & turn on (cart recovery) switches the abandoned-checkout automation on.
  • Dismiss removes the proposal and deletes its unsent draft.

The copy is written with AI when the AI writer is on for your store (Settings → AI, it uses the product writer’s allowance). Otherwise Autopilot uses a plain built-in message; each proposal says which.

Ad channels

Autopilot will also move ad budget between Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads once those apps can connect your ad accounts. Until then those rows say Coming with the Facebook & Instagram app and Coming with the Google app, and Autopilot only plans emails.

FAQ

Can Autopilot send something on its own?

No. Every campaign waits for Approve & schedule. Turning Autopilot off stops new proposals; approved campaigns stay scheduled and can be cancelled from Campaigns.

Why did Plan campaigns propose nothing?

Either a proposal for that goal is already waiting, your weekly limits are used up, or the numbers do not call for one (for example fewer than 10 subscribers, or no festival in the next three weeks).
