Attribution

Growth → Attribution is the detailed report behind the Growth overview. Pick the dates at the top; every number is compared with the period of the same length just before it.

What is on the page

  • Tiles: sessions, conversion rate, average order value, total sales and sales from marketing, each with its change.
  • Sessions by traffic type: direct, paid, organic and unknown.
  • How sales are credited: the rule below, on the page so nobody has to guess.
  • Attributed sales over time, daily or weekly.
  • Sales by source (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google, WhatsApp, AI assistants, Email, Direct, Other) or by channel (organic search, paid social and so on). Each row splits orders and sales into first-time and returning buyers. Select a source to see the campaigns and tagged links under it. On the channel view, Paid and Organic narrow the table.
  • What marketing earned, split into campaigns, automations, discount codes and links, and your best source for the period.
  • Top campaigns, from your sends, automations and tagged links.

How credit is given

Koomerce uses last non-direct click with a 30-day window:

  • An order is credited to the last channel, link or campaign the shopper came from in the 30 days before buying.
  • A later visit typed straight into the browser (direct) does not take that credit away.
  • Orders with no tracked visit at all (imported orders, drafts, orders made through the API) count as Not tracked, not as direct.

FAQ

Why do Attribution and Analytics show different sales?

Analytics counts every order. Attribution’s sales from marketing only counts orders whose last non-direct visit came from a channel, link or campaign.
