Printed documents
Settings → Printed documents holds the three documents you print from Orders:
- Packing slip: goes in the parcel. The order number, date, delivery address and what is inside, without prices.
- Pick list: for the warehouse. Every item across the orders you selected, how many to pick, and which orders each one goes to, sorted by SKU.
- Invoice: a simple invoice with prices and totals, for stores that do not use the GST invoices app.
Edit a template
Select Edit. The template is HTML (a <style> tag is fine; scripts never run). The preview
on the right fills it from a made-up order with your store’s details, as you type. Save
keeps your version; Reset to default brings the built-in one back.
Merge tags are filled from the order:
{{ order.number }},{{ order.date }},{{ store.name }}: print a value.{{#lines}} … {{/lines}}: repeat for each item ({{ title }},{{ variant }},{{ sku }},{{ quantity }},{{ price }},{{ total }}).{{#order.note}} … {{/order.note}}: show only when there is a note;{{^order.note}} … {{/order.note}}shows when there is none.
The editor lists every tag a template can use.
The GST invoice
With the GST invoices app installed, the app makes your tax invoice and keeps it GST compliant, so only its branding and the fields it shows can change, in the app’s settings. The Invoice template here is then not printed.
On Orders, select orders, then More actions → Print packing slips, Print pick list or Print invoices. On an order, Print prints its packing slip. The print dialog opens by itself.
